في عملية نوعية هزت منطقة المحاميد بمراكش، نجحت الفرقة الجهوية للشرطة القضائية المغربية في إسقاط ضابط شرطة «متلبساً» بتسلم مبلغ مالي يُشتبه في أنه رشوة، في خطوة تعكس جدية السلطات الأمنية في تنظيف بيتها الداخلي.

بدأت القضية بمعطيات دقيقة قادت المحققين لمراقبة الضابط بشكل سري. والمفاجأة كانت ضبطه خارج أوقات عمله الرسمية وهو يتسلم «مبلغاً مالياً» من شخص كان طرفاً في ملف قضائي سابق، مقابل الامتناع عن أداء واجباته الوظيفية، فيما وُصف بـ«الخيانة المهنية».

وبأوامر من النيابة العامة المختصة، تم احتجاز الضابط المشتبه فيه، لكشف جميع خيوط الواقعة وتحديد ما إذا كان هناك أطراف أخرى متورطة في هذا الملف الذي أثار ضجة واسعة في الأوساط المغربية.

ويترقب الرأي العام المغربي قرار المديرية العامة للأمن الوطني (DGSN)، التي لا تتساهل عادة في مثل هذه الحالات، حيث من المنتظر اتخاذ عقوبات تأديبية صارمة قد تصل إلى الفصل النهائي من الوظيفة، بمجرد انتهاء البحث القضائي.

ويمكن الخلوص إلى أن سقوط ضابط مراكش هو رسالة مغربية قوية بأن القانون فوق الجميع، وأن «الرتبة الأمنية» لا تحمي صاحبها من المحاسبة إذا سقط في فخ الفساد المالي.

In a significant operation that shook the Al-Mahamid area in Marrakech, the regional judicial police force of Morocco succeeded in apprehending a police officer "caught in the act" of receiving a sum of money suspected to be a bribe, in a move that reflects the seriousness of the security authorities in cleaning up their internal affairs.

The case began with precise information that led investigators to monitor the officer secretly. The surprise came when he was caught outside his official working hours receiving a "sum of money" from a person who was involved in a previous legal case, in exchange for refraining from performing his official duties, in what was described as "professional betrayal."

Under orders from the competent public prosecutor, the suspected officer was detained to uncover all the details of the incident and to determine whether there were other parties involved in this case, which has caused widespread uproar in Moroccan circles.

The Moroccan public is awaiting a decision from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), which usually does not tolerate such cases, as strict disciplinary measures are expected, possibly leading to final dismissal from the job, once the judicial investigation is completed.

It can be concluded that the fall of the Marrakech officer is a strong Moroccan message that the law is above all, and that "security rank" does not protect its holder from accountability if they fall into the trap of financial corruption.
