شهدت ورشة عمل الأثر المناخي في نسختها الثالثة، التي عقدها المركز الوطني للأرصاد بمقره في جدة، مشاركة ممثلي 37 جهة حكومية وميدانية معنية بأعمال الحج، في إطار تعزيز التنسيق المشترك والجاهزية لموسم الحج.
وأكد الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الدكتور أيمن غلام أهمية الاستعداد المبكر لموسم الحج، مشيراً إلى أن المركز كثف جهوده هذا العام عبر دعم منظومة الرصد في منطقتي مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والمشاعر المقدسة، وتوفير خدمات أرصادية دقيقة تسهم في سلامة ضيوف الرحمن، لافتاً إلى أن تغطية المركز لأجواء المشاعر بلغت 100% من خلال المحطات والرادارات والتقنيات الحديثة المدعومة بفرق ميدانية متخصصة.
منصة تنسيقية
وأوضح المشرف العام على أعمال الحج والعمرة بالمركز الدكتور تركي حبيب الله أن الورشة تمثل منصة تنسيقية مهمة لرفع مستوى الجاهزية بين الجهات ذات العلاقة، وتعزيز الاستفادة من المعلومات المناخية والتوقعات الجوية لدعم سلامة الحجاج ورفع كفاءة الأعمال الميدانية خلال موسم الحج.
عروض متخصصة
وشهدت الورشة عروضاً متخصصة شملت بناء نظرة استشرافية لمواسم الحج حتى عام 1471هـ وما يصاحبها من تحولات موسمية، مع تحليل الظواهر الجوية المؤثرة وآثارها الصحية، إضافة إلى السجل المناخي التاريخي والمؤشرات الاستباقية لدعم التخطيط المسبق لسلامة الحجيج. وتناولت الورشة الجاهزية التشغيلية لمنظومة الرصد المتكاملة من رادارات وأقمار صناعية، وآليات إعداد التوقعات والنشرات عبر النماذج العددية والذكاء الاصطناعي، إلى جانب استعراض خطط استمرارية الأعمال والخدمات الأرصادية الداعمة لتعزيز الكفاءة التشغيلية للجهات الحكومية والخاصة. وتخلل الورشة عرض لملامح الخطة الإعلامية وتكثيف الرسائل التوعوية بلغات متعددة لضمان شمولية التغطية، مع تسليط الضوء على تميز الكوادر الوطنية وبرامج التطوير المهني المتخصصة لرفع دقة التنبؤات وجودة الخدمات المقدمة لضيوف الرحمن.
The third edition of the Climate Impact Workshop, held by the National Center of Meteorology at its headquarters in Jeddah, witnessed the participation of representatives from 37 governmental and field entities concerned with Hajj operations, as part of enhancing joint coordination and readiness for the Hajj season.
The CEO of the center, Dr. Ayman Ghulam, emphasized the importance of early preparation for the Hajj season, noting that the center has intensified its efforts this year by supporting the monitoring system in the regions of Makkah and Madinah and the holy sites, providing accurate meteorological services that contribute to the safety of the guests of Allah. He pointed out that the center's coverage of the atmosphere in the holy sites reached 100% through stations, radars, and modern technologies supported by specialized field teams.
Coordination Platform
Dr. Turki Habib Allah, the general supervisor of Hajj and Umrah operations at the center, explained that the workshop represents an important coordination platform to raise the level of readiness among the relevant entities and enhance the utilization of climate information and weather forecasts to support the safety of pilgrims and improve the efficiency of field operations during the Hajj season.
Specialized Presentations
The workshop featured specialized presentations that included building a forward-looking perspective for Hajj seasons until the year 1471 AH and the accompanying seasonal transformations, along with analyzing the impactful weather phenomena and their health effects, in addition to the historical climate record and proactive indicators to support pre-planning for the safety of the pilgrims. The workshop addressed the operational readiness of the integrated monitoring system, including radars and satellites, and the mechanisms for preparing forecasts and bulletins through numerical models and artificial intelligence, as well as reviewing business continuity plans and meteorological services that support enhancing the operational efficiency of governmental and private entities. The workshop also included a presentation of the media plan's features and intensifying awareness messages in multiple languages to ensure comprehensive coverage, highlighting the excellence of national cadres and specialized professional development programs to improve the accuracy of forecasts and the quality of services provided to the guests of Allah.
