بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لحرية الصحافة نظم فرع هيئة الصحفيين السعوديين بمنطقة جازان، بالتعاون مع بيت الثقافة «المقهى الإعلامي» تحت عنوان «الصحافة الحرة.. بين التأثير والتحدي». حيث استضاف المقهى في جلسته الحوارية الدكتور حسن بن أحمد أبو شريفة، الأستاذ بقسم الإعلام بجامعة جازان، فيما أدار الحوار، مدير مركز الإنتاج الإذاعي والتلفزيوني بالمنطقة جماح دغريري. وتناول اللقاء عدة محاور جوهرية كان من أبرزها تحليل الفجوة بين الطموح المهني والواقع الميداني الذي يواجه الصحفي اليوم، وكيفية صناعة المحتوى الهادف وكيف يمكن للإعلامي أن يوازن بين سرعة الانتشار ولا الحفاظ على رصانة المادة المقدمة، كما ناقش سمات الإعلامي المؤثر واستعراض الأدوات والمهارات التي تجعل من الإعلامي رقماً صعباً وصاحب بصمة إيجابية في مجتمعه. وأكد أبو شريفة خلال اللقاء أن الإعلامي الحقيقي هو من يستطيع تحويل التحديات التقنية والمهنية إلى فرص لصناعة محتوى قيمي يخدم الوطن والمواطن. ولم يقتصر اللقاء على الطرح الأحادي، بل شهدت القاعة تفاعلاً كبيراً من الحضور عبر مداخلات أثرت النقاش، حيث تم استعراض تجارب ميدانية ورؤى مستقبلية حول تطوير الأداء الإعلامي بالمنطقة، مما عكس عمق الوعي الثقافي والمهني لدى كوادر جازان الإعلامية. وفي ختام الأمسية، قام مدير فرع هيئة الصحفيين السعوديين بجازان، الدكتور علي بن إبراهيم خواجي، بتكريم ضيف اللقاء وشركاء النجاح، بدروع تذكارية.

On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, the branch of the Saudi Journalists Association in the Jazan region, in collaboration with the House of Culture "Media Café," organized an event titled "Free Journalism: Between Influence and Challenge." The café hosted Dr. Hassan bin Ahmed Abu Shreefa, a professor in the Media Department at Jazan University, for a dialogue session, which was moderated by Jamah Dghreeri, the director of the Radio and Television Production Center in the region. The meeting addressed several key topics, the most prominent of which was analyzing the gap between professional ambition and the field reality that journalists face today, how to create meaningful content, and how journalists can balance the speed of dissemination with maintaining the integrity of the material presented. It also discussed the characteristics of an influential journalist and reviewed the tools and skills that make a journalist a significant figure with a positive impact in their community. During the meeting, Abu Shreefa emphasized that a true journalist is one who can turn technical and professional challenges into opportunities for creating valuable content that serves the nation and its citizens. The meeting was not limited to a one-sided presentation; the hall witnessed significant interaction from the attendees through interventions that enriched the discussion, showcasing field experiences and future visions for developing media performance in the region, reflecting the depth of cultural and professional awareness among Jazan's media personnel. At the end of the evening, Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Khawaji, the director of the Saudi Journalists Association branch in Jazan, honored the guest of the meeting and partners in success with commemorative shields.
