أثار مؤدي المهرجانات الشعبية رضا البحراوي تفاعلاً واسعاً عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي خلال الساعات الأخيرة، بعد كشفه قرار اعتزاله الغناء نهائياً، تنفيذاً لوصية والدته الراحلة.
وأوضح البحراوي، في تصريحات محلية أدلى بها عقب تلقيه عزاء والدته بمسقط رأسه في محافظة الغربية، أن هذا القرار لم يكن وليد اللحظة، بل جاء التزاماً بوعد وصية لوالدته قبل وفاتها، حيث طلبت منه التوقف عن العمل الفني.
وأكد البحراوي أنه يسعى للوفاء بوصيتها، معرباً عن أمله في أن يمنحه الله القوة للالتزام بما كانت تتمناه، في خطوة شكلت صدمة لجمهوره ومحبيه داخل الوسط الفني وخارجه.
صراع طويل مع المرض
يشار إلى أن والدة رضا البحراوي رحلت منذ أيام بعد صراع طويل مع المرض، حيث تدهورت حالتها في الفترة الأخيرة ما استدعى دخولها العناية المركزة أكثر من مرة، قبل أن تفارق الحياة متأثرة بتداعيات المرض.
وكان رضا البحراوي طرح أخيراً أحدث أغانيه بعنوان «إنت لسه شُفت حاجه من الزمن»، في تعاون فني يجمعه مع الشاعر الملحن محمد عبد المنعم، فيما تولى أشرف البرنس مهمة التوزيع الموسيقي.

El Bahrawy explained, in local statements made after receiving condolences for his mother in his hometown in Gharbia Governorate, that this decision was not made on a whim, but rather as a commitment to a promise he made to his mother before her passing, as she requested him to stop his artistic work.
El Bahrawy confirmed that he is striving to honor her wish, expressing hope that God grants him the strength to adhere to what she desired, in a move that has shocked his audience and fans both within and outside the artistic community.
A Long Battle with Illness
It is worth noting that Reda El Bahrawy's mother passed away a few days ago after a long battle with illness, as her condition deteriorated in recent times, necessitating her admission to intensive care multiple times, before she succumbed to the effects of the disease.
Recently, Reda El Bahrawy released his latest song titled "You Haven't Seen Anything from Time," in a musical collaboration with poet and composer Mohamed Abdel Moneim, while Ashraf El Prince handled the musical arrangement.
