أظهر مقطع فيديو صادم لحظة اقتراب طائرة تابعة لشركة يونايتد إيرلاينز، من الهبوط وهي تصطدم بعمود إنارة وشاحنة نقل، في حادثة خطيرة وقعت بمطار نيوارك ليبرتي الدولي خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع.

وكانت الرحلة رقم 169، القادمة من البندقية بإيطاليا إلى ولاية نيوجيرسي الأمريكية، قد اصطدمت بالعمود والشاحنة أثناء مرحلة الهبوط قرابة الساعة الثانية ظهراً بالتوقيت المحلي يوم الأحد.

ورغم خطورة الحادثة، أكدت السلطات أن جميع الركاب البالغ عددهم 221 شخصاً لم يصابوا بأي أذى، وتمكنت الطائرة من الهبوط بسلام.

وأظهر تسجيل من داخل شاحنة تابعة لشركة مخابز، أن السائق كان يسير على طريق نيوجيرسي السريع عندما اصطدمت به عجلات الطائرة والجزء السفلي منها، ما أدى إلى اندفاع الشاحنة بقوة على الطريق.

وبحسب مسؤولي الشركة، نُقل السائق إلى المستشفى وأصيب بجروح طفيفة نتيجة الزجاج المتناثر، دون تسجيل إصابات خطيرة.

من جانبها، أوضحت شركة الطيران أن الطائرة لامست عمود إنارة أثناء اقترابها النهائي من المطار، مؤكدة أنها هبطت بأمان وتوجهت إلى البوابة بشكل طبيعي، دون إصابات بين الركاب أو الطاقم.

وأشارت إلى أن فرق الصيانة بدأت فحص الطائرة للكشف عن أي أضرار محتملة، مع إجراء مراجعة شاملة لإجراءات السلامة، كما تم إيقاف طاقم الرحلة مؤقتاً لحين انتهاء التحقيقات.

وتتولى كل من إدارة الطيران الفيدرالية (FAA) والمجلس الوطني لسلامة النقل (NTSB)،التحقيق في ملابسات الحادثة، ومن المتوقع إصدار تقرير أولي خلال 30 يوماً يتضمن تفاصيل الواقعة وأسبابها.

A shocking video showed the moment a United Airlines plane was approaching to land when it collided with a light pole and a delivery truck, in a serious incident that occurred at Newark Liberty International Airport over the weekend.

Flight 169, coming from Venice, Italy to New Jersey, USA, struck the pole and the truck during the landing phase around 2 PM local time on Sunday.

Despite the seriousness of the incident, authorities confirmed that all 221 passengers were unharmed, and the plane was able to land safely.

A recording from inside a bakery truck showed that the driver was traveling on the New Jersey highway when the plane's wheels and underside collided with him, causing the truck to be violently pushed along the road.

According to company officials, the driver was taken to the hospital and sustained minor injuries from the shattered glass, with no serious injuries reported.

For its part, the airline stated that the plane brushed against a light pole during its final approach to the airport, confirming that it landed safely and proceeded to the gate normally, with no injuries among passengers or crew.

It noted that maintenance teams began inspecting the aircraft for any potential damage, conducting a thorough review of safety procedures, and the flight crew was temporarily suspended pending the completion of investigations.

Both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and a preliminary report is expected to be issued within 30 days detailing the incident and its causes.
