أدان الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط، بأشد العبارات تجدد العدوان الإيراني الغادر على دولة الإمارات بالمسيّرات الحربية والصواريخ مستهدفاً منشآت مدنية، معتبراً هذا العدوان انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي ولاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار.

كما أدان أبو الغيط الاعتداء الإيراني السافر الذي استهدف ناقلة إماراتية بمسيّرات حربية أثناء عبورها من خلال مضيق هرمز، وكذا الهجوم بمسيّرة على منشأة نفطية في الفجيرة.

وشدد أبو الغيط على ضرورة الوقف الفوري لجميع الأعمال العدوانية الإيرانية التي تستهدف دولة الإمارات العربية أو حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، محملاً إيران المسؤولية كاملة عن أفعالها غير المشروعة التي تهدد السلم والأمن الدوليين.

ونقل المتحدث باسم الأمين العام الجامعة الدول العربية جمال رشدي، عن أبو الغيط، تأكيده مجدداً على أن الأمن القومي العربي كل لا يتجزأ، معرباً عن التضامن الكامل والوقوف إلى جانب دولة الإمارات في ما ستتخذ من إجراءات لحماية أمنها وسلامة أراضيها.

وتُعد الفجيرة، التي تقع خارج مضيق هرمز، مركزاً حيوياً لتصدير النفط الإماراتي، وغالباً ما تُستهدف في مثل هذه التوترات لأهميتها الإستراتيجية، كما يُعد استهداف ناقلات النفط تهديداً مباشراً لحرية الملاحة الدولية.

يأتي موقف الجامعة العربية متسقاً مع إدانات سابقة من دول عربية ومجلس التعاون الخليجي، وسط دعوات دولية متزايدة لضبط النفس ووقف التصعيد الذي يهدد استقرار المنطقة بأكملها.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, condemned in the strongest terms the renewed treacherous Iranian aggression against the United Arab Emirates using war drones and missiles targeting civilian facilities, considering this aggression a blatant violation of international law and the ceasefire agreement.

Aboul Gheit also condemned the blatant Iranian attack that targeted an Emirati tanker with war drones while it was transiting through the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the drone attack on an oil facility in Fujairah.

He emphasized the necessity of an immediate halt to all Iranian aggressive actions targeting the United Arab Emirates or the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, holding Iran fully responsible for its unlawful actions that threaten international peace and security.

The spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Jamal Rushdi, conveyed Aboul Gheit's reaffirmation that Arab national security is an indivisible whole, expressing full solidarity and support for the United Arab Emirates in whatever measures it will take to protect its security and the safety of its territory.

Fujairah, located outside the Strait of Hormuz, is a vital center for exporting Emirati oil and is often targeted in such tensions due to its strategic importance, while targeting oil tankers poses a direct threat to international navigation freedom.

The Arab League's position is consistent with previous condemnations from Arab countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council, amid increasing international calls for restraint and an end to the escalation that threatens the stability of the entire region.
