علمت مصادر «عكاظ» أن نادياً «غربياً» يرفض الرد على قضايا مركز التحكيم الرياضي السعودي، المتعلقة بالمطالب المالية ومستحقات بعض العاملين المتأخرة، لعدم تواجد المدير التنفيذي للألعاب المختلفة الذي يتمتع بإجازة نهاية السنة في موطنه الأصلي، وهذا التجاهل سيعرّض النادي لعقوبات محتملة تصل لحد منع التسجيل.

من جهته وقَّع مركز التحكيم الرياضي السعودي، مذكرة تفاهم مع هيئة التحكيم الرياضي الخليجية، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون المشترك، وتبادل الخبرات في مجال التحكيم وتسوية المنازعات الرياضية.

ووقع المذكرة، رئيس مجلس إدارة مركز التحكيم الرياضي السعودي الدكتور محمد بن ناصر باصّم، وعضو مجلس الأمناء بهيئة التحكيم الرياضي الخليجية عبدالعزيز بن محمد العنزي؛ إذ تهدف لوضع إطار عام للتعاون الفني والقانوني والتدريبي بين الطرفين في مجال تسوية المنازعات الرياضية، بما يشمل تبادل الخبرات، وتنمية القدرات، وبناء الكفاءات المتخصصة، بما يسهم في تطوير منظومة التحكيم الرياضي، والارتقاء بممارسات تسوية النزاعات الرياضية وفق أفضل المعايير المهنية.

وأكَّد الجانبان أن المذكرة تمثّل خطوة مهمة نحو توحيد الجهود الخليجية في مجال التحكيم الرياضي، وتعزيز التكامل المؤسسي، وتبادل الخبرات والتجارب الناجحة، بما يحقق العدالة الناجزة، ويسهم في دعم واستقرار المنظومة الرياضية في المنطقة.

Sources informed "Okaz" that a "Western" club is refusing to respond to cases at the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center related to financial claims and overdue payments for some workers, due to the absence of the executive director of various sports who is on a year-end vacation in his home country. This neglect could expose the club to potential penalties, including a ban on registration.

For its part, the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gulf Sports Arbitration Authority, as part of efforts to enhance joint cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of arbitration and the resolution of sports disputes.

The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center, Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Bassam, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Gulf Sports Arbitration Authority, Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Anzi. The aim is to establish a general framework for technical, legal, and training cooperation between the two parties in the field of sports dispute resolution, which includes the exchange of experiences, capacity building, and the development of specialized competencies, contributing to the advancement of the sports arbitration system and enhancing practices in resolving sports disputes according to the best professional standards.

Both parties confirmed that the memorandum represents an important step towards unifying Gulf efforts in the field of sports arbitration, enhancing institutional integration, and exchanging successful experiences and practices, achieving swift justice, and contributing to the support and stability of the sports system in the region.
