أعلنت وزارة الخارجية البلجيكية، أمس (السبت)، فرض حظر شامل على تصدير ونقل الأسلحة والمعدات العسكرية إلى إسرائيل، خصوصاً تلك التي تُستخدم في الأراضي الفلسطينية، في خطوة تهدف إلى عدم المساهمة في تفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية.

وقالت المتحدثة باسم الخارجية البلجيكية أودري جاكي في تصريحات لوسائل إعلام: «بلادنا حظرت تصدير ونقل الأسلحة إلى إسرائيل التي تُستخدم في فلسطين».

وأشارت الخارجية البلجيكية إلى أن قراراً ملكياً صدر يحظر أيضاً عبور أو توقف طائرات تنقل معدات عسكرية أو أسلحة متجهة إلى إسرائيل في المجال الجوي البلجيكي أو مطاراتها.

وأكدت جاكي أن الهدف من القرار هو «تجنب المساهمة في الانتهاكات»، وسد الثغرات القانونية التي كانت تُستغل سابقاً لنقل الأسلحة دون ترخيص مباشر.

يأتي هذا القرار في سياق الضغوط الدولية المتزايدة على الدول الأوروبية لوقف تصدير الأسلحة إلى إسرائيل، خصوصاً بعد اندلاع الحرب في غزة في أكتوبر 2023، التي أسفرت عن مقتل عشرات الآلاف من الفلسطينيين وتدمير واسع للبنية التحتية، وفق تقارير الأمم المتحدة ومنظمات حقوقية.

وكانت بلجيكا، كدولة أوروبية عضو في الاتحاد الأوروبي، قد شهدت ضغوطاً داخلية من منظمات حقوق الإنسان والبرلمانات الإقليمية مثل برلمان بروكسل لفرض قيود على تصدير الأسلحة، خصوصاً بعد حكم محكمة بلجيكية في يوليو 2025 أمر بوقف شحنات أسلحة من ميناء أنتويرب ثاني أكبر ميناء في أوروبا إلى إسرائيل.

ويُعد هذا الحظر جزءاً من توجه أوروبي أوسع، إذ سبقت دول مثل إسبانيا وإيرلندا وإيطاليا بلجيكا في اتخاذ إجراءات مشابهة أو تعليق تراخيص التصدير، وسط دعوات متزايدة لفرض حظر أوروبي موحد بناءً على توصيات محكمة العدل الدولية والأمم المتحدة بشأن الالتزام بعدم المساهمة في جرائم حرب أو انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان.

The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced yesterday (Saturday) a comprehensive ban on the export and transfer of weapons and military equipment to Israel, particularly those used in the Palestinian territories, in a move aimed at not contributing to the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank.

Belgian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Audrey Jackie stated in remarks to the media: "Our country has banned the export and transfer of weapons to Israel that are used in Palestine."

The Belgian Foreign Ministry noted that a royal decree has also been issued prohibiting the passage or stopping of aircraft carrying military equipment or weapons destined for Israel in Belgian airspace or its airports.

Jackie confirmed that the aim of the decision is to "avoid contributing to violations" and to close legal loopholes that were previously exploited to transfer weapons without direct licensing.

This decision comes in the context of increasing international pressure on European countries to stop arms exports to Israel, especially following the outbreak of war in Gaza in October 2023, which resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians and widespread destruction of infrastructure, according to reports from the United Nations and human rights organizations.

Belgium, as a European Union member state, has faced internal pressure from human rights organizations and regional parliaments such as the Brussels Parliament to impose restrictions on arms exports, particularly after a Belgian court ruling in July 2025 ordered the halt of arms shipments from the Port of Antwerp, the second largest port in Europe, to Israel.

This ban is part of a broader European trend, as countries like Spain, Ireland, and Italy have preceded Belgium in taking similar actions or suspending export licenses, amid increasing calls for a unified European ban based on recommendations from the International Court of Justice and the United Nations regarding the obligation not to contribute to war crimes or human rights violations.
