أكد الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي أن مصر ستواصل مسيرة الإصلاح الاقتصادي وتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص، رغم التحديات الإقليمية والدولية، وفي مقدمتها تداعيات الحرب في قطاع غزة، التي كبّدت البلاد خسائر مباشرة كبيرة.
وقال السيسي، في كلمته خلال المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي في دافوس:«مصر فقدت نحو 9 مليارات دولار من العوائد المباشرة لقناة السويس نتيجة الحرب، في واحدة من أبرز التداعيات الاقتصادية للصراع على الاقتصاد المصري».
الإصلاح الاقتصادي
وشدد الرئيس المصري على أن الدولة تمضي قدمًا في تنفيذ برنامج الإصلاح الاقتصادي، مشيراً إلى أن التخارج الحكومي من بعض الأنشطة الاقتصادية يمنح القطاع الخاص مساحة أكبر للتوسع والنمو.
وأوضح أن الحكومة تواصل تطبيق وثيقة سياسة ملكية الدولة، إلى جانب تنفيذ برنامج الطروحات الحكومية، بما يعزز الشراكة مع القطاع الخاص ويدفع عجلة النمو الاقتصادي.
وأشار السيسي إلى أن البنية التحتية في مصر شهدت تطورًا كبيرًا خلال السنوات الماضية، ما أسهم في تحسين مناخ الاستثمار وجذب رؤوس الأموال المحلية والأجنبية.
وأفاد بأن الخطة الاقتصادية المصرية شاملة، وتتضمن التركيز على قطاعات المستقبل، وفي مقدمتها الذكاء الاصطناعي، إلى جانب العمل على تأمين احتياجات الطاقة اللازمة لدعم تطوير هذه القطاعات الجديدة.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt will continue its path of economic reform and enhance the role of the private sector, despite regional and international challenges, foremost among them the repercussions of the war in the Gaza Strip, which has inflicted significant direct losses on the country.
El-Sisi stated in his speech during the World Economic Forum in Davos: "Egypt has lost about $9 billion in direct revenues from the Suez Canal as a result of the war, in one of the most prominent economic repercussions of the conflict on the Egyptian economy."
Economic Reform
The Egyptian president emphasized that the state is moving forward with the implementation of the economic reform program, noting that the government's exit from some economic activities provides the private sector with greater space for expansion and growth.
He explained that the government continues to implement the state ownership policy document, alongside executing the government offerings program, which enhances partnership with the private sector and drives economic growth.
El-Sisi pointed out that infrastructure in Egypt has seen significant development over the past years, contributing to improving the investment climate and attracting local and foreign capital.
He stated that the Egyptian economic plan is comprehensive and includes a focus on future sectors, foremost among them artificial intelligence, in addition to working on securing the energy needs necessary to support the development of these new sectors.
