في واقعة أشبه بـ«سيناريوهات الأفلام»، تحولت مدينة «تشيفريل» في ولاية دينيزلي التركية إلى ساحة للصدمة والذهول، بعد اختفاء صائغ ذهب شهير (يعمل في المهنة منذ 30 عاماً) تاركاً وراءه عشرات الضحايا الذين فقدوا مدخرات العمر في ليلة وضحاها.
كيف بدأت «الخدعة»؟
الصائغ (س. ج) الذي بنى على مدار عقود «إمبراطورية ثقة» مع أهالي المدينة، اعتاد تسلّم الذهب والمبالغ النقدية من الزبائن لحفظها أو صياغتها. لكن يوم الجمعة الماضي، استيقظ الأهالي على «مفاجأة مرعبة»؛ فالمتجر مغلق، وحسابات على السوشيال ميديا مُغلقة، والصائغ تبخّر في الهواء.
وتؤكد التحقيقات الأولية أن الصائغ لم يغادر وحده، بل «حزم معه» نحو 150 كيلوغراماً من الذهب، تاركاً خلفه ديوناً تقدر بمدخرات سنوات لزبائنه الذين وثقوا به.
وعند اقتحام المتجر، عثرت السلطات على كميات محدودة (بين 25 إلى 30 كيلوغراماً)، تم التحفظ عليها قضائياً، بينما تشير المؤشرات إلى أن الجزء الأكبر من «الثروة» عبر الحدود مع الصائغ.
ولم تقف السلطات التركية مكتوفة الأيدي، إذ بدأت إجراءات قانونية عاجلة لإدراج اسمه على قائمة المطلوبين دولياً عبر «النشرة الحمراء» (الإنتربول) لتتبعه.
وتجمّع الضحايا أمام المتجر في حالة من الغضب والانهيار، مطالبين باسترداد حقوقهم، بينما تواصل النيابة العامة تحقيقاتها المكثفة لكشف الوجهة النهائية للصائغ الهارب الذي حوّل «الثقة» إلى وسيلة للنصب.
ويمكن القول إن هذه الواقعة ليست مجرد عملية سرقة، بل «زلزال مالي» ضرب استقرار أهالي تشيفريل. وبينما تتوسع التحقيقات، يظل السؤال الأكبر: كيف استطاع صائغٌ واحد أن يخدع مدينة بأكملها ويهرب بهذا الحجم من الذهب دون أن يثير أي شكوك حتى اللحظة الأخيرة؟
In an incident reminiscent of "movie scenarios," the city of "Çivril" in Denizli, Turkey, turned into a scene of shock and disbelief after a famous goldsmith (who has been in the profession for 30 years) disappeared, leaving behind dozens of victims who lost their life savings overnight.
How did the "scam" begin?
The goldsmith (S. J.) who built a "trust empire" with the city's residents over decades, was accustomed to receiving gold and cash from customers for safekeeping or crafting. However, last Friday, residents woke up to a "terrifying surprise"; the store was closed, social media accounts were shut down, and the goldsmith had vanished into thin air.
Initial investigations confirm that the goldsmith did not leave alone, but "packed with him" about 150 kilograms of gold, leaving behind debts estimated at years of savings for his trusting customers.
Upon storming the store, authorities found limited quantities (between 25 to 30 kilograms), which were seized judicially, while indications suggest that the bulk of the "wealth" crossed the border with the goldsmith.
The Turkish authorities did not stand idly by, as urgent legal measures were initiated to place his name on the international wanted list via "Red Notice" (Interpol) to track him down.
Victims gathered in front of the store in a state of anger and despair, demanding the return of their rights, while the public prosecutor's office continues its intensive investigations to uncover the final destination of the fleeing goldsmith who turned "trust" into a means of fraud.
It can be said that this incident is not just a theft, but a "financial earthquake" that struck the stability of Çivril's residents. As investigations expand, the bigger question remains: how could a single goldsmith deceive an entire city and escape with such a large amount of gold without raising any suspicions until the very last moment?
