في حكم نهائي وبات، قضت محكمة النقض المصرية، اليوم (الإثنين)، برفض الطعن المقدم من أحمد فتوح لاعب نادي الزمالك، على الحكم الصادر بحبسه 6 أشهر مع إيقاف التنفيذ، في القضية المعروفة إعلامياً بـ«حادثة دهس أمين الشرطة».

وبهذا الحكم، يصبح القرار نهائياً وباتاً وغير قابل للطعن، ليُغلق أحد أبرز الملفات القضائية التي شغلت الرأي العام الرياضي خلال الفترة الماضية.

كانت محكمة جنايات مطروح قد أصدرت حكماً سابقاً بمعاقبة اللاعب بالحبس مع إيقاف التنفيذ، إضافة إلى غرامة مالية وسحب رخصة القيادة، بعد إدانته بالتسبب في وفاة المجني عليه نتيجة حادثة سير.

كما سبق لمحكمة الاستئناف أن أيدت الحكم، قبل أن يلجأ دفاع اللاعب إلى محكمة النقض، مطالباً بإلغائه بدعوى وجود أخطاء قانونية وقصور في التسبيب، إلا أن المحكمة رفضت الطعن موضوعاً.

تعود أحداث القضية إلى أغسطس 2024، حين صدم اللاعب بسيارته أحد المواطنين (أمين شرطة) أثناء عبوره الطريق الساحلي بمنطقة العلمين، ما أسفر عن وفاته متأثراً بإصاباته.

وكشفت التحقيقات آنذاك تجاوز السرعة القانونية، وقيادة السيارة تحت تأثير مواد مخدرة، وهي الاتهامات التي استندت إليها المحكمة في حكمها بالإدانة.

التصالح بين فتوح وأسرة الضحية

وشهدت القضية تصالحاً بين أسرة المجني عليه والمتهم، بعد دفع تعويض مالي، ما أدى إلى انقضاء الدعوى الجنائية في شق القتل الخطأ، مع استمرار العقوبة المقضي بها في المخالفات الأخرى المرتبطة بالواقعة.

In a final and conclusive ruling, the Egyptian Court of Cassation ruled today (Monday) to reject the appeal submitted by Ahmed Fattouh, a player for Zamalek Club, against the sentence issued for his imprisonment for 6 months with a suspended sentence, in the case known in the media as the "Police Officer Hit-and-Run Incident."

With this ruling, the decision becomes final and conclusive and cannot be appealed, closing one of the most prominent legal cases that has occupied public opinion in the sports community during the past period.

Details of the Ruling

The Matrouh Criminal Court had previously issued a ruling punishing the player with imprisonment with a suspended sentence, in addition to a financial fine and the revocation of his driving license, after convicting him of causing the death of the victim as a result of a traffic accident.

The Court of Appeal had also upheld the ruling before the player's defense resorted to the Court of Cassation, requesting its annulment on the grounds of legal errors and deficiencies in reasoning; however, the court rejected the appeal on its merits.

Details of the Case

The events of the case date back to August 2024, when the player hit a citizen (a police officer) with his car while crossing the coastal road in the Alamein area, resulting in his death from his injuries.

Investigations at the time revealed exceeding the legal speed limit and driving under the influence of narcotics, which were the charges upon which the court based its conviction ruling.

Settlement Between Fattouh and the Victim's Family

The case witnessed a settlement between the victim's family and the accused, following the payment of financial compensation, which led to the expiration of the criminal case concerning involuntary manslaughter, while the penalty imposed for other violations related to the incident remains in effect.
