أعلنت وكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين «الأونروا» أن قطاع غزة أصبح «أخطر مكان في العالم» على الصحفيين والعاملين في المجال الإنساني، محذرة من أن الحظر الإسرائيلي المستمر على دخول الصحفيين الأجانب إلى القطاع يعزز حملات التضليل والسرديات المتطرفة.
وأكد المفوض العام للأونروا، فيليب لازاريني، في بيان رسمي، اليوم(الأحد)، أن منع الإعلام الدولي منذ أكثر من 650 يوماً يخلق فراغاً إعلامياً يُملأ بالشائعات والدعاية، مما يعيق الجهود الدولية لفهم الواقع على الأرض ويزيد من التوترات الإقليمية.
يأتي هذا الإعلان في أعقاب ارتفاع حصيلة الضحايا في غزة، حيث أكدت مصادر صحية ارتفاع عدد الشهداء إلى 71,654 فلسطينياً، وعدد المصابين إلى 171,391، منذ اندلاع الحرب الإسرائيلية في 7 أكتوبر 2023.
مجازر مستمرة في غزة
ولفتت إلى أن هذه الأرقام تشمل القتلى منذ وقف إطلاق النار في أكتوبر 2025، الذي بلغ عددهم نحو 483 قتيلاً، بما في ذلك 169 طفلاً و64 امرأة، وسط استمرار الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية.
وأبرزت الأونروا أن الهجمات على موظفيها ومرافقها تستمر، مع مقتل أكثر من 200 موظف منذ بدء الحرب، وتعرض مبانيها لقصف متكرر، مما يجعل العمل الإنساني في غزة «مستحيلاً» دون حماية دولية.
واتهمت إسرائيل بشن حملة تضليل عالمية ضد الوكالة، تهدف إلى تقويض دورها الإنساني وتبرير الهجمات عليها، محذرة من أن مثل هذه الحملات «خطيرة» وتثير الخوف بين العاملين الإنسانيين.
تضليل إسرائيلي ممنهج
ودعت الأونروا المجتمع الدولي إلى رفع الحظر فوراً على دخول الصحفيين، مؤكدة أن الوصول المستقل إلى غزة ضروري لمكافحة الشائعات وتوثيق الانتهاكات، خصوصا مع استمرار الأزمة الإنسانية التي تهدد حياة ملايين السكان.
وتأسست وكالة «الأونروا» وهي وكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين، عام 1949 لتقديم المساعدات الإنسانية لأكثر من 5.9 مليون لاجئ فلسطيني في غزة والضفة الغربية والأردن وسوريا ولبنان.
وتقدم الأونروا خدمات التعليم والصحة والإغاثة لنحو 1.7 مليون شخص، وتشكل العمود الفقري للعمل الإنساني هناك، خلال الحرب الإسرائيلية على غزة التي اندلعت في 7 أكتوبر 2023، قُتل أكثر من 200 موظف من الأونروا، وتعرضت مرافقها لقصف متكرر، مما جعلها تتعرض لحملات تضليل إسرائيلية اتهمتها بالتواطؤ مع حماس، رغم نفيها ذلك.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that the Gaza Strip has become the "most dangerous place in the world" for journalists and humanitarian workers, warning that the ongoing Israeli ban on the entry of foreign journalists into the region enhances disinformation campaigns and extreme narratives.
The UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed in an official statement today (Sunday) that the prevention of international media for more than 650 days creates a media vacuum filled with rumors and propaganda, hindering international efforts to understand the reality on the ground and increasing regional tensions.
This announcement comes in the wake of rising casualty figures in Gaza, where health sources confirmed that the number of martyrs has reached 71,654 Palestinians, and the number of injured has risen to 171,391 since the outbreak of the Israeli war on October 7, 2023.
Ongoing massacres in Gaza
It was noted that these figures include the dead since the ceasefire in October 2025, which numbered around 483, including 169 children and 64 women, amid continued Israeli violations.
UNRWA highlighted that attacks on its staff and facilities continue, with more than 200 employees killed since the war began, and its buildings subjected to repeated shelling, making humanitarian work in Gaza "impossible" without international protection.
Israel was accused of launching a global disinformation campaign against the agency, aimed at undermining its humanitarian role and justifying attacks on it, warning that such campaigns are "dangerous" and instill fear among humanitarian workers.
Systematic Israeli Disinformation
UNRWA called on the international community to immediately lift the ban on the entry of journalists, emphasizing that independent access to Gaza is essential to combat rumors and document violations, especially with the ongoing humanitarian crisis threatening the lives of millions of residents.
UNRWA was established in 1949 as the United Nations agency for the relief and employment of Palestinian refugees, to provide humanitarian assistance to more than 5.9 million Palestinian refugees in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.
UNRWA provides education, health, and relief services to about 1.7 million people and forms the backbone of humanitarian work there. During the Israeli war on Gaza that erupted on October 7, 2023, more than 200 UNRWA employees were killed, and its facilities were subjected to repeated shelling, leading to Israeli disinformation campaigns accusing it of collusion with Hamas, despite its denial of such claims.
