أعلنت الخطوط الجوية النمساوية، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، تعليق جميع رحلاتها من وإلى طهران حتى 16 فبراير القادم على الأقل، مع استمرار تجنب طائراتها التحليق فوق الأجواء الإيرانية.

وجاء في بيان صادر عن الشركة التابعة لمجموعة لوفتهانزا أن القرار يأتي «في ضوء تقييم مستمر للوضع الأمني في المنطقة»، مشيرة إلى أنها ستواصل استخدام ممر جوي محدد في الأجواء العراقية لرحلاتها الأخرى، مع تجنب المجال الجوي الإيراني بالكامل.

وكانت شركة الخطوط الجوية النمساوية، قررت يوم الخميس الماضى تمديد تعليق رحلاتها بين فيينا وطهران حتى 21 يناير على الأقل، بسبب استمرار الاحتجاجات الجماهيرية والمخاوف الأمنية فى إيران.

وأكدت الشركة أنها ستعيد تقييم الوضع بانتظام، وستقوم بإعادة حجز الركاب المتضررين أو تقديم استرداد كامل للتذاكر، ويُعد هذا التمديد جزءاً من إجراءات مجموعة لوفتهانزا الأوسع، التي أعلنت تعليق رحلاتها إلى طهران حتى 29 مارس 2026، وسط تحذيرات من وكالة سلامة الطيران الأوروبية ودول عدة من مخاطر التحليق فوق إيران.

يأثر القرار على مئات الركاب، خصوصاً رجال الأعمال والسياح، ويعكس التوترات المتزايدة في المنطقة التي دفعت عدة شركات طيران إلى تعليق خدماتها إلى إيران أو تجنب أجوائها.

وتشهد إيران منذ مطلع يناير 2026 تصعيداً أمنياً وسياسياً كبيراً، مع احتجاجات واسعة النطاق ضد النظام، إغلاق مؤقت للمجال الجوي الإيراني، وتحذيرات دولية من مخاطر عسكرية محتملة في المنطقة بما في ذلك تهديدات أمريكية وتوترات إقليمية.

وأصدرت وكالة سلامة الطيران الأوروبية وعدة دول تحذيرات من استخدام المجال الجوي الإيراني، مما دفع شركات طيران عديدة إلى تعليق رحلاتها أو تغيير مساراتها.

Austrian Airlines announced today (Tuesday) the suspension of all its flights to and from Tehran until at least February 16, with its aircraft continuing to avoid flying over Iranian airspace.

In a statement issued by the airline, which is part of the Lufthansa Group, the decision comes "in light of an ongoing assessment of the security situation in the region," noting that it will continue to use a designated air corridor in Iraqi airspace for its other flights while completely avoiding Iranian airspace.

Austrian Airlines had decided last Thursday to extend the suspension of its flights between Vienna and Tehran until at least January 21, due to the ongoing mass protests and security concerns in Iran.

The airline confirmed that it will regularly reassess the situation and will either rebook affected passengers or provide a full refund for tickets. This extension is part of broader measures by the Lufthansa Group, which announced the suspension of its flights to Tehran until March 29, 2026, amid warnings from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and several countries about the risks of flying over Iran.

The decision affects hundreds of passengers, particularly business travelers and tourists, and reflects the increasing tensions in the region that have led several airlines to suspend their services to Iran or avoid its airspace.

Since early January 2026, Iran has been experiencing significant security and political escalation, with widespread protests against the regime, a temporary closure of Iranian airspace, and international warnings about potential military risks in the region, including American threats and regional tensions.

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency and several countries have issued warnings against using Iranian airspace, prompting many airlines to suspend their flights or change their routes.
