تواجه كرة القدم الهولندية أزمة تنظيمية وقانونية غير مسبوقة، مع احتمال إعادة 133 مباراة في مختلف المسابقات، وذلك في حال صدور حكم قضائي مرتقب الاثنين من محكمة أوتريخت في قضية تتعلق باللاعبين «ثنائيي الجنسية».

وتتمحور القضية حول شكوى تقدم بها نادي ناك بريدا، الذي يطالب بإعادة مباراة خسرها بنتيجة 6-0 في مارس أمام غو أهيد إيغلز، بدعوى أن الفريق الخصم أشرك لاعباً يعتبره النادي غير مؤهل قانونياً.

اللاعب محل الجدل هو دين جيمس، المولود في هولندا، الذي اختار في مارس 2025 تمثيل المنتخب الإندونيسي، وشارك معه حتى الآن في 5 مباريات دولية.

ويرى محامو ناك بريدا، إضافة إلى عدد من الخبراء القانونيين، أن اختيار اللاعب تمثيل منتخب آخر غير هولندا يجعله عملياً في حكم «الأجنبي»، ما يستلزم امتلاكه تصريح عمل رسمياً لمزاولة نشاطه الرياضي داخل البلاد. وخلال جلسات المرافعة الأسبوع الماضي، أكد محامو النادي أن «السبب لا يهم كثيراً، ما نراه هو أن لاعباً غير مؤهل تم إشراكه، وبالتالي يجب إعادة المباراة».

في المقابل، يحذر الاتحاد الهولندي لكرة القدم من أن قبول هذا التفسير قد يفتح الباب أمام سلسلة من الاعتراضات المشابهة، ما قد يهدد استمرارية المسابقة. وقالت مديرة كرة القدم المحترفة في الاتحاد ماريان فان ليوين إن القرار «سيؤدي إلى الفوضى»، مشيرة إلى أن تداعياته قد تمتد لتشمل 133 مباراة في الدوري الممتاز، إضافة إلى مباريات في الدرجة الثانية والدوري النسائي، مع احتمال إعادة النظر في نتائجها.

كما شدد محامو الاتحاد خلال المرافعات على أن «الوضع غير اعتيادي، وما هو على المحك يتجاوز بكثير مباراة واحدة، إذ إن إدارة الدوري أجرت تقييماً معمقاً يراعي مصلحة كرة القدم المحترفة، ولذلك يجب رفض طلب ناك»، مضيفين أن «تفسير الاتحاد يحظى بدعم واسع من العديد من الأندية».

أما المدير العام لنادي ناك بريدا ريمكو أوفرسيير فقد رد بالقول: «نحن نطبق القواعد، وهي واضحة».

وفي ظل انتظار الحكم القضائي، اتخذت عدة أندية هولندية خلال الأسابيع الماضية إجراءات احترازية، من بينها وضع بعض اللاعبين ثنائيي الجنسية في بطالة تقنية مؤقتة، تحسباً لأي تطورات قانونية.

وفي تعليق يعكس حجم الارتباك داخل الأندية، قال المدير التنفيذي لنادي نيميغن ويلكو فان شايك لمجلة «فوتبال إنترناشيونال»: «أنا غاضب. لقد تصرفنا جميعاً بحسن نية. لا يمكن أن ينتهي هذا الأمر إلا بعفو عام، لأن أية جهة رسمية لم تبلغنا بهذه الوضعية».

وتكتسب القضية حساسية إضافية في الدوري الهولندي، حيث يلعب عدد كبير من اللاعبين المولودين في هولندا لمنتخبات أخرى، خصوصاً دول مثل سورينام وكوراساو وإندونيسيا، وهي من المستعمرات الهولندية السابقة، إضافة إلى دول أخرى تضم جاليات مهاجرة كبيرة داخل هولندا.

ورغم ذلك، فإن هذه الإشكالية لا تطال الأندية الكبرى مثل أيندهوفن وأياكس وفينورد، لكنها تؤثر بشكل أكبر على أندية أخرى تشرك لاعبين ثنائيي الجنسية دون امتلاكهم تصاريح عمل يُعتقد أنها مطلوبة وفق التفسير القانوني محل النزاع.

The Dutch football is facing an unprecedented organizational and legal crisis, with the possibility of replaying 133 matches across various competitions, should a pending court ruling from the Utrecht court on Monday address the issue of "dual nationality" players.

The case revolves around a complaint filed by NAC Breda, which is demanding the replay of a match it lost 6-0 in March against Go Ahead Eagles, claiming that the opposing team fielded a player whom the club considers ineligible.

The player in question is Dean James, born in the Netherlands, who chose to represent the Indonesian national team in March 2025 and has so far participated in 5 international matches.

NAC Breda's lawyers, along with several legal experts, argue that the player's choice to represent a national team other than the Netherlands effectively renders him "foreign," which necessitates him having an official work permit to engage in sports activities within the country. During the hearings last week, the club's lawyers asserted that "the reason does not matter much; what we see is that an ineligible player was fielded, and thus the match should be replayed."

In contrast, the Dutch Football Association warns that accepting this interpretation could open the door to a series of similar objections, potentially threatening the continuity of the competition. The director of professional football at the association, Marianne van Leeuwen, stated that the decision "will lead to chaos," noting that its repercussions could extend to 133 matches in the Premier League, in addition to matches in the second division and women's league, with the possibility of reevaluating their results.

The association's lawyers emphasized during the proceedings that "the situation is unusual, and what is at stake goes far beyond a single match, as the league management conducted a thorough assessment that considers the interests of professional football, and therefore NAC's request should be rejected," adding that "the association's interpretation enjoys broad support from many clubs."

Meanwhile, the general manager of NAC Breda, Remco Oversier, responded by saying: "We are applying the rules, and they are clear."

While awaiting the court ruling, several Dutch clubs have taken precautionary measures in recent weeks, including placing some dual nationality players on temporary technical unemployment, in anticipation of any legal developments.

In a comment reflecting the level of confusion within the clubs, the executive director of Nijmegen, Wilco van Schaik, told "Football International": "I am angry. We all acted in good faith. This can only end with a general amnesty, as no official body has informed us of this situation."

The case gains additional sensitivity in the Dutch league, where a large number of players born in the Netherlands represent other national teams, particularly countries like Suriname, Curaçao, and Indonesia, which are former Dutch colonies, in addition to other countries with large immigrant communities within the Netherlands.

Despite this, the issue does not affect major clubs like PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, and Feyenoord, but it does impact other clubs that field dual nationality players without having the work permits believed to be required under the disputed legal interpretation.
